Fibelastic sam is a ready to use liquid waterproofing membrane developed by the FIBREX R&D laboratories specifically designed for preformed weathered membranes such as APP, TPO, EPDM, PVC etc. It is an innovative system made from synthetic polyurethane hybrid elastomers with inorganic binders and carefully selected minerals in water dispersion containing no solvents and no VOC. On exposure to direct sunlight UV cross linkers activate and strengthen the coating increasing the dirt pickup resistance. Drying process of coating releases only water vapors and no other toxic chemicals found in conventional coatings. Fibelastic sam is designed to last for 15 years on properly treated surfaces. Fibelastic sam adheres strongly to numerous types of substrate and with its high elasticity provides exceptional crack bridging properties. Due to its special adhesion promoting formulation and UV absorbers, Fibelastic sam has excellent mechanical properties that remains stable over the years. Fibelastic sam is easy to apply by brush, roller or spray on horizontal, vertical and sloping surfaces. The product dries quickly in thin coats and several coats may be applied in a very short space of time to reduce site waiting times to a minimum.
